(Details on Nov 29th - UNB MHKY "Teddy Bear Toss") As discussed, I’d love to have Your U14 Stars Ringette Team help with the stuffed animal cleanup AND a 1st intermission scrimmage at this year’s Men’s Hockey Teddy Bear Toss - Friday, November 29th at 7PM I look forward to having them part of one of our best games of the year! Details are include: Stuffed Toys are all tossed onto the ice after either: (1) the 1st UNB Goal OR (2) the first stoppage in play after the 10-minute mark of the 3rd Period (whichever comes first). We will need 12 players from the team to help with the stuffed animals’ pickup. (all 15 is fine) They can be dressed in their team track suits or jerseys and are required to bring their skate guards, skates, helmets and gloves. Will give the team 2-3 tickets per player for the game. Your team will meet one of our Game Supervisors in the AUC lobby at 6:15PM on game night. They will then be brought down to a dressing room where they can get their skates & skate guards on + leave their shoes/jackets/etc, and to also change out of their gear etc once the stuffies have all been removed from the ice or they have had their 1st intermission scrimmage, whichever comes last. We will need to take them up on the concourse to get down to the seats we will have setup for them along the glass (Sec 9/10). They will sit in these seats up until the Teddy Bear goal. I will be by them during the game to manage the ice access (Videographer, Trucks, Ringette Team). I will let them know when it is safe to enter/exit the ice. We ask that they keep their gloves on the entire time on the ice.. They will sit in the seating by the Zamboni entrance doors. Once everyone has finished throwing their stuffies, they enter the ice after the trucks have parked on the ice. The trucks will be filled up and then everyone leaves the ice as soon as safely possible to resume the game.
