FYRA Goalie Rebate Program
FYRA’s Goalie Rebate Program has been updated slightly starting with the 2023-2024 season. Please see the details below.
100% Registration Fee Refund
- Applicants must be registered in the U12 program or above with FYRA.
- Applicants must be considered a Full-Time Goaltender with FYRA.
- Refund applies to the current season only. No retroactive refunds will be considered for prior seasons.
50% Registration Fee Refund
- Applies only to goaltenders participating in the U12 program with FYRA.
- Applicants must be considered a Part-Time Goaltender with FYRA.
- Applicants must play as a goaltender for a minimum of 10 exhibition, league, or tournament games.
- Refund applies to the current season only. No retroactive refunds will be considered for prior seasons.
$50 Registration Discount for Next Season
- Applicants must be registered in the U10 program with FYRA.
- Applicants can be considered a Part-Time Goaltender with FYRA.
- Applicants must play as a goaltender for a minimum of 5 exhibition, league, or tournament games.
- Discount qualification applies to the current season only. No retroactive discounts will be considered.
- Successful candidates will have a $50 credit applied to their account for the following season.
Definitions
Full-Time Goaltender: A full-time goaltender is a player who plays exclusively in the goaltending position and does not play out of net on their primary team. The goaltender can be part of a multi-goalie tandem.
Part-Time Goaltender: A part-time goaltender is a player who is part of a multi-goalie tandem on a team and elects to play as a skater when not playing as a goaltender.
Applicants must meet the criteria above and submit an application to the Director of Goaltender Development for a refund before March 15th of the current season. No late applicants will be considered.
